    One of the two pairs of UGG Bootes I purchased through one of their pop up stores had the metal plate on the heal break through the outer lining within the first 6 weeks. They had hardly been worn at all. I rang the phone number on the receipt (Melbourne number) who said I could take the Boots to DFO outlet and exchange. At DFO I was met with resistance to exchange despite having receipt. The boots were bought for my 11 year old daughter who was accused of deliberately causing the fault. Eventually we were offered a completely different pair of UGG boots (different colour and size). We agreed to the replacement pair, knowing we were not really being given a choice. However my daughter later showed me that the inside of one of the boots was scratchy and matted. Clearly the boots we were offered was another returned faulty pair of boots. The owner of the stall at DFO had also asked to keep my receipt upon exchange. Would never by from this business again.
